Flying cars for sale: what you can buy, reserve or ride
Eight flying cars take orders or reservations, from $148,000 for the Jetson ONE, but the Jetson ONE is the only one of them being delivered so far. Here's what each of the 22 we track costs and how close it is.
How many flying cars are there?
No one keeps an official worldwide count. Of the 22 flying cars, personal aircraft and air taxis we track, two are certified or being delivered: the Jetson ONE (being delivered to owners) and the EHang EH216-S (certified in China). Nine more are in formal certification; the rest are test aircraft, prototypes or paused. For scale, autoevolution reported in March 2026 that about 100 Jetson ONE customers were due to receive aircraft in 2026 and EHang delivered 215 EH216-series aircraft in 2025, a figure that includes non-passenger versions.
Can you buy a flying car?
Yes, in a limited way. Eight take orders or reservations, from $148,000 for the Jetson ONE. Of these, only the Jetson ONE is being delivered (delivering since September 2025; new orders quoted for 2028); the rest are reservations for aircraft still being built, tested or certified.
How much does a flying car cost?
Stated prices for flying cars and personal aircraft run from $148,000 for the Jetson ONE to as much as $1.2 million for the Klein Vision AirCar, a company estimate. Taxes, training and insurance may be extra.
How high has each one flown?
Every vehicle we track, placed at the level it has really reached, from prototype to carrying passengers. Checked October 17, 2026.
